When Love and Logic collides...

Definition (by Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)

Love: 1 a (1): strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties 2): attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3): affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests b: an assurance of love

Logic: 1 a (1): a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration : the science of the formal principles of reasoning

Love is a very complicated thing. Love could be a unconditional thing, especially when it comes to relatives and such, Love could be mistaken with Lust, especially when all you can thing is getting that booty, Love can be rejected, Love can bring Happiness, Love can be the most wonderful thing and yet Love can be the most agonizing thing.

Logic is something that is suppose to be a sure thing. The logic of gravity is the reason we're not floating and flying away, the logic of math is the reason we can make calculation for various things in Life.

and at a certain moment in our lives, Love and Logic might collide and create a whole lot of confusion, uncertainty and even desperation...

If you're more of a practical-mathematical professor-nuclear scientist kind of person, you'd probably go with your logic and calculate things base on you're logic and just put Love aside...

but if you're more of a lovey-dovey melancholic type of person (like me), you'd probably base everything on Love and find enough reasons to put logic aside...

But Love is not something that could be measure by Logic, you can't apply the law of gravity to falling in Love, you can apply measurement to how much you Love someone...

and at the same time, you can't always put a Logic to the things you Love. You can't logically explain why you still Love that criminal-egoistic brother or sister of yours, you can't explain why you stay with you're physically aggressive spouse when everyone has told you to leave, you can't explain why you keep up hope and Love when you know that you're spouse has lied or cheated to you over and over again...

So when Love and Logic collides, any decision we make would not be an easy one, but try to keep your heart open and listen to what it say but keep another ear to your brain, and believe that you will make a decision that you won't regret for the rest of you're Life.

I wanna be a Hero!

You might not be a Surgeon who has to cut open a person and be a big hero when you save that person's life...

You might not be a Detective who has a full-of-action-exciting life who looks heroic for catching the bad guys and protecting the good ones...

You might not have the ability to fly or have other super powers and be called a Hero by the world...

but at the same time,

You don't have to risk making a mistake in surgery and end up killing someone...

You don't have to risk getting shot at or knowing how it feels to kill someone even if you have to...

You don't have a super villain who always wants you dead and have the burden of the world on your shoulder...

and if the word Hero seems like a title that you long for, all you have to do is be yourself and live to the fullest.

Be a Hero to your parents for making them proud of you

Be a Hero to your children by taking care of them as best as you could

Be a Hero to your Lover by understanding and accepting they're weakness and flaws

Be a Hero to the world by simply caring for it as best as you know how...

And believe, that there is a Hero in every one of us. Go be one.

That is what Life is all about

"Life is fun and games!"

I heard that somewhere before (I'm pretty sure I did not made it up) , and through some years in my Life, I kinda thought that its true. But at a certain time in your life, you will realize that Life is not all fun and games. Those two things might sound like the most enjoyable things, but it is not what life is all about.

in Life, you'll experience a lot of great things, your happy moments, your victories, your first birthday party (that you can actually remember, not because your Mom showed you the picture album), your first kiss, the first time you make Love, your engagement proposal, your marriage, your first born, your first grand children...

but you'll also experience unpleasant things, like loses, sad moments, heart break, rejection, humiliation, death...

Its funny how we take life for granted when we're having so much fun, so much joy and happiness, but we damned it when we're down and feeling sorrow...

But there won't be light if there's no darkness, there's won't be joy if there's no sadness, there won't be happiness when there's no sorrow...

So be grateful when you're Happy and be strong when you're down, cause wherever Life leads you, that is what living a Life is all about.
