When Love and Logic collides...

Definition (by Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)

Love: 1 a (1): strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties 2): attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3): affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests b: an assurance of love

Logic: 1 a (1): a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration : the science of the formal principles of reasoning

Love is a very complicated thing. Love could be a unconditional thing, especially when it comes to relatives and such, Love could be mistaken with Lust, especially when all you can thing is getting that booty, Love can be rejected, Love can bring Happiness, Love can be the most wonderful thing and yet Love can be the most agonizing thing.

Logic is something that is suppose to be a sure thing. The logic of gravity is the reason we're not floating and flying away, the logic of math is the reason we can make calculation for various things in Life.

and at a certain moment in our lives, Love and Logic might collide and create a whole lot of confusion, uncertainty and even desperation...

If you're more of a practical-mathematical professor-nuclear scientist kind of person, you'd probably go with your logic and calculate things base on you're logic and just put Love aside...

but if you're more of a lovey-dovey melancholic type of person (like me), you'd probably base everything on Love and find enough reasons to put logic aside...

But Love is not something that could be measure by Logic, you can't apply the law of gravity to falling in Love, you can apply measurement to how much you Love someone...

and at the same time, you can't always put a Logic to the things you Love. You can't logically explain why you still Love that criminal-egoistic brother or sister of yours, you can't explain why you stay with you're physically aggressive spouse when everyone has told you to leave, you can't explain why you keep up hope and Love when you know that you're spouse has lied or cheated to you over and over again...

So when Love and Logic collides, any decision we make would not be an easy one, but try to keep your heart open and listen to what it say but keep another ear to your brain, and believe that you will make a decision that you won't regret for the rest of you're Life.
