Being there for someone...

It is often said that for someone to be there for you... they do not have to literally be there.

You can't really wish a person who has passed away to come back and be there for you...
People have long distance relationship without they're spouse actually be there for each other...
But we can still somehow feel that those who has pass is still with us, supporting us, and being there for us at times we need them most...
Long distance relationship still sometime works, even though they're far from each other, the loyalty, trust, compassion and love avails...

having said all that...

don't you think its strange when the person that is literally by your side could seem so so far away?
You can see them, you can touch them, but somehow you don't feel them by your side?
If they don't really want to be here at the first place, why do they stay?
Is it because they can't be where they wanna be and just Have to accept being here instead?
Is it because they long for something more and just using you as a stepping stone?
Is it because you are the safety net so that when their high dream and hopes are not achieve, at lease they will still have somewhere to land?

Being with someone is not about getting just the good stuff...
being with someone is not all about You...
being with someone is about accepting each other good AND flaws...
being with someone is about Us... about You and Me...

So make a decision whether you want to be with that someone or not,
because being with one and hoping for more is just not fair
being with one and not being there is just cruel
Just be there... or don't...

Labels or Love

Its a human condition that one can hardly be satisfied with what one's got...

but then, nothing in life is perfect.

You can be Miranda, who has a great job, great income, her own place, but never get around her busy self to find Love...

You can be Charlotte, who finds a wealthy-handsome-great shape-husband, who can't even get it up when she's around...

You can be Samantha, who can get any man she wants, who would buy her anything she wants, but never getting their Love...

You can be Carry, who has Big, with all his charm, good looks, wealthy... and get stranded at the altar...

or you can take the time and have Steve, who might not earn much, unstable in more ways then one, but Loves you with every beat of his Heart...

or you can have Harry, who might not be good looking, but Loves you for who you are...

or you can have Jerrod, who might be much younger then you'd expect, but Loves you unconditionally...

or in some cases, after all that you had to go through, you could still finally be with Big...

But life is not a fairy tale,

Life is not a TV show,

in life you have to make decisions,

and live with it's consequences.

So what is it gonna be? Labels? or Love?

When Love and Logic collides...

Definition (by Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)

Love: 1 a (1): strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties 2): attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3): affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests b: an assurance of love

Logic: 1 a (1): a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration : the science of the formal principles of reasoning

Love is a very complicated thing. Love could be a unconditional thing, especially when it comes to relatives and such, Love could be mistaken with Lust, especially when all you can thing is getting that booty, Love can be rejected, Love can bring Happiness, Love can be the most wonderful thing and yet Love can be the most agonizing thing.

Logic is something that is suppose to be a sure thing. The logic of gravity is the reason we're not floating and flying away, the logic of math is the reason we can make calculation for various things in Life.

and at a certain moment in our lives, Love and Logic might collide and create a whole lot of confusion, uncertainty and even desperation...

If you're more of a practical-mathematical professor-nuclear scientist kind of person, you'd probably go with your logic and calculate things base on you're logic and just put Love aside...

but if you're more of a lovey-dovey melancholic type of person (like me), you'd probably base everything on Love and find enough reasons to put logic aside...

But Love is not something that could be measure by Logic, you can't apply the law of gravity to falling in Love, you can apply measurement to how much you Love someone...

and at the same time, you can't always put a Logic to the things you Love. You can't logically explain why you still Love that criminal-egoistic brother or sister of yours, you can't explain why you stay with you're physically aggressive spouse when everyone has told you to leave, you can't explain why you keep up hope and Love when you know that you're spouse has lied or cheated to you over and over again...

So when Love and Logic collides, any decision we make would not be an easy one, but try to keep your heart open and listen to what it say but keep another ear to your brain, and believe that you will make a decision that you won't regret for the rest of you're Life.

I wanna be a Hero!

You might not be a Surgeon who has to cut open a person and be a big hero when you save that person's life...

You might not be a Detective who has a full-of-action-exciting life who looks heroic for catching the bad guys and protecting the good ones...

You might not have the ability to fly or have other super powers and be called a Hero by the world...

but at the same time,

You don't have to risk making a mistake in surgery and end up killing someone...

You don't have to risk getting shot at or knowing how it feels to kill someone even if you have to...

You don't have a super villain who always wants you dead and have the burden of the world on your shoulder...

and if the word Hero seems like a title that you long for, all you have to do is be yourself and live to the fullest.

Be a Hero to your parents for making them proud of you

Be a Hero to your children by taking care of them as best as you could

Be a Hero to your Lover by understanding and accepting they're weakness and flaws

Be a Hero to the world by simply caring for it as best as you know how...

And believe, that there is a Hero in every one of us. Go be one.

That is what Life is all about

"Life is fun and games!"

I heard that somewhere before (I'm pretty sure I did not made it up) , and through some years in my Life, I kinda thought that its true. But at a certain time in your life, you will realize that Life is not all fun and games. Those two things might sound like the most enjoyable things, but it is not what life is all about.

in Life, you'll experience a lot of great things, your happy moments, your victories, your first birthday party (that you can actually remember, not because your Mom showed you the picture album), your first kiss, the first time you make Love, your engagement proposal, your marriage, your first born, your first grand children...

but you'll also experience unpleasant things, like loses, sad moments, heart break, rejection, humiliation, death...

Its funny how we take life for granted when we're having so much fun, so much joy and happiness, but we damned it when we're down and feeling sorrow...

But there won't be light if there's no darkness, there's won't be joy if there's no sadness, there won't be happiness when there's no sorrow...

So be grateful when you're Happy and be strong when you're down, cause wherever Life leads you, that is what living a Life is all about.
