a simple New Year Wish

We've all heard people talk about this,
maybe a friend, maybe a relative,
or even maybe a stranger...

Why is it that after all the good that I've done, nothing good seem to ever happen to me?
Why is it that good persons never get it in return?
What have I done to receive all this sadness and sorrow? Haven't I been good enough?
why... Why... WHY???

These questions often pop up in life, and no answer seem to be good enough to answer it,
and I'm sorry to say I'm not hear to answer it as well.

But here's one thing I can say...
Don't do good and think of it as an investment.
Don't do good and expect a return.
Do good and be happy just because you did it.
Do good and hope that good will spread throughout humanity.
Do good... and just keep believing in it.

I don't have a fancy New Year resolution,
I don't have a lot of wishes that I wish would come true...
but if there's one thing that I can wish for,
is for people to keep believing in Good,
believing in kindness, compassion, and Love...

So all I wish for in this New Year, is for people to continue doing good things, not because they will get good in return, but simply because they know that its the right thing to do, and be happy just because they've done Good.
